Tianjin Construction Machinery Works specializes in manufacturing crawler bulldozers in China and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes Group Co., Ltd. who is under direct control of state-owned Property Committee of the State Council. Yishan company is also listed to equip the General Logistics Department of the P.L.A. with more than 1500 units of Yishan brand bulldozer series serving in the army for military purposes and peace keeping mission for the United Nations.

Yishan company has a long history of manufacturing crawler bulldozers. Established in 1953 and located in Tianjin – the largest port city of North China and dedicated in developing and manufacturing crawler bulldozers, Yishan company manufactured China’s first crawler bulldozer in 1958 and in 1985 Yishan company exclusively imported world advanced technology from Komatsu company of Japan to manufacture D60 of mechanical drive and D65 of hydraulic drive crawler bulldozers with the features of advanced design, agile operation, high performance reliability, long service life, large power output, low fuel consumption, low noise and wide application with efficiency. Currently, Yishan company has over 1200 well-trained workers and staffs with rich experience in bulldozer manufacturing and its annual production capacity is more than 1000 units of crawler bulldozers.

In order to strictly carry out Komatsu standard in manufacturing and produce world class bulldozers, Yishan company made large investments on processing facilities and technical renovation, importing infrared atmosphere gas protection and carburizing and nitriding heat treatment production line from Japan, steel plate pretreatment equipment, KT-610 N/C cutting machine, N/C bending machine, German made SCHARMANN machining center, Japan made Mitsubishi machining center, America made Gleason quenching presser, German made model ZSTZ800x14 gear grinding machine, digital screen floor type borer etc.

At present, Yishan company operates a strong technical center with 73 senior engineers and technicians majoring mechanism, electronics, hydraulics and computer etc. engaged in research and development of new products, new design, modification and innovation by applying CAD, CAX and the simulated experiment design methods like finite element analysis to optimize design, improving reliability, availability, and serviceability of components and reducing development cycle and accelerating modification of products.
